We measure the foam as it goes down so the R value stays even, never thin in the corners where the cold likes to sneak in and undo the rest of the work. And we seal the air leaks first, because spray foam over a draft is just wasted money.
Our winters are the real test. When it sits in the single digits outside and stays warm inside, every weak spot in the shell shows itself. We build for that exact gap.
